Charity Support
AIRO was founded on a passion for creativity and a desire to help others. Creating aromatherapy candles is just one aspect of my work; I'm also pursuing a career as a clinical aromatherapist.
I'm dedicated to providing support for older individuals, including massages and meaningful conversations. My goal is to help them find relief from distress, pain, or loneliness, because everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life, regardless of their age.
By buying a candle we donate £1 to charities for older people.
Our launch charity is Dementia UK, as it is close to my heart having had a few relatives live with dementia in later life.
Aromatherapy offers a soothing and holistic approach to supporting the health and wellbeing of older adults. Essential oils, when used appropriately, can provide numerous benefits for both the body and mind.
Here are a few examples:
- Rosemary: Helps reduce stress, improve memory, and lower cortisol levels.
- Peppermint: Uplifts mood and promotes feelings of happiness.
- Ylang Ylang: Combats bacteria, helps regulate blood pressure, and aids in sleep.

While aromatherapy may not be a cure-all, it can be a valuable tool for enhancing overall wellbeing and quality of life for older individuals.

On first burn allow the candle to fully pool to the edge to ensure the wax burns evenly and the scent can fill the room.
- Burn for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4
- Place on level surface
- Trim the wick before every use to approx. 1cm
- Snuff out candle rather than blowing
- Avoid placing lit candle in drafty places

Wait until there is about 1 cm of wax left at the bottom of the glass and you can see metal of wick holders.

Your satisfaction is important to us, so if there are any issues with our candles please get in touch via the contact us page.
We can take items back for a refund within 28 days of receipt, however you must notify us within 14 days. It must be in the packaging and unused.
You must send the item back using a tracked service and include your order number. Postage is covered by the customer.
